Who you are & what youll need to succeed. 5+ years of backend software development experience.Strong experience with Java (Java 8+).Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, and Docker.Familiarity with distributed systems, caching, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with Spring Security.Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Exposure to Spring AI or AI-powered application development.Experience with OAuth2, JWT, or secure API development. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
