Accounts Executive - Walkin (Chennai)

Position: Accounts Executive Experience: 3 6 Years Location: Thousand Lights, Chennai Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage accounting operations, GST compliance, TDS activities, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Tally, GST, TDS, and Advanced Excel, with the ability to handle day-to-day accounting functions efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. - Record and maintain financial transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime. - Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and handle GST reconciliations. - Compute, deduct, deposit, and file TDS returns as per statutory requirements. - Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly. - Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments. - Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation. - Generate MIS reports and financial analysis using Excel. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Accounting Principles. - Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime. - Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas, Data Analysis). - Good understanding of bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations. - Knowledge of statutory compliance and taxation regulations. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Solid communication and organizational skills. Qualification - B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. - 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation. Preferred Candidate Profile - Experience handling GST and TDS independently. - Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. - Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
