Job Description As our Admin Assistant - Sales Order Management member, you are responsible for managing the complete sales order process, from order receipt to delivery and invoicing. Key responsibilities include order entry, tracking order status, resolving order-related issues, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and service standards. Responsibilities Team Management Lead, teach and develop the team. Assign workloads, prioritise daily activities and monitor team performance. Encourage ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Sales Administration / Order Management Manage the end-to-end order-management process from order receipt to shipment; the detailed process may differ by location. Ensure timely and accurate order processing, order acknowledgements and customer communication. Monitor the order backlog and resolve issues affecting delivery performance; the detailed approach may differ by location. Act as the primary escalation point for customer order-related issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams. Forecast Management Coordinate monthly sales forecasts with Account Managers. Consolidate and circulate the rolling 12-month forecast by the 25th of each month. Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse variances and obtain improvement actions from the respective Key Account Managers (KAMs). Continuous Improvement Use A3 methodology and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve recurring issues and implement sustainable corrective actions. Improve and implement SOPs for all processes of order management and implement them in all global plants. Train and develop team members in Order Management processes, systems, SOPs, Lean, Daily Work Management (DWM) and customer-service standards.
