Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, GST compliance, TDS compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, GST filings, TDS deductions and returns, and general accounting practices. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping - Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts. - Record and verify purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries. - Prepare bank reconciliation statements and manage cash flow records. - Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. Tally & Zoho Books Management - Enter and maintain accounting transactions in Tally Prime and Zoho Books. - Create and manage ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and inventory records. - Generate financial reports such as Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports. - Ensure proper backup and maintenance of accounting data. GST Compliance - Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.). - Reconcile GST input and output tax records. - Verify GST compliance for purchase and sales transactions. - Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants regarding GST matters. TDS Compliance - Deduct TDS as per applicable provisions. - Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns. - Generate and issue TDS certificates. - Reconcile TDS payments and maintain compliance records. Financial Reporting & Audit Support - Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. - Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management. - Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and reports. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. .
