A Plant - HR (Human Resources) oversees all people-related operations at a manufacturing facility, factory, or plant. Core duties include managing industrial relations, hiring shop floor workers, handling payroll inputs, enforcing local labor law compliance, and resolving daily employee grievances. In a nut shell, a plant HR is responsbile for the complete employee life cycle. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: Source, interview, and onboard factory workers, staff, and Managers and Supervisors.Industrial Relations: Maintain harmony on the shop floor, handle unions, and mediate disputes.Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to labor regulations (such as local factories acts, provident fund, and wage rules).Time & Payroll: Track shift rosters, attendance, overtime, and process inputs for monthly payroll.Training & Safety: Coordinate safety inductions, skill development, and compliance with plant health guidelines.Employee Engagement: Drive retention programs, resolve day-to-day conflicts, and support plant leadership.Required Qualifications Education: MBA in HR, Masters in Social Work (MSW), or a degree in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations.Experience: 3 to 8+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience, preferably inside a manufacturing, industrial, or plant setting.Skills: Strong knowledge of local labor laws, active shop floor presence, conflict resolution, and clear communication.Compensation: 35,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month Benefits: Food providedHealth insuranceLeave encashmentLife insurancePaid sick timePaid time offProvident FundWork Location: In person .
