We are looking for an aggressive, volume-driven leader to scale our SME client acquisition across the Indian market. Job Summary As the AGM of Sales & Marketing, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to design and execute a high-velocity growth framework targeting Indias massive SME sector. Operating from our Chennai hub, you will manage rapid sales cycles, scale customer acquisition teams, and optimize digital marketing engines to convert thousands of small and medium business owners into loyal DigiSME subscribers. Key Responsibilities High-Velocity SME Sales & Market Penetration Scale Subscription Volumes: Design and execute high-output sales frameworks to consistently hit monthly revenue targets through rapid, compounding client onboarding. Optimize Short Sales Cycles: Streamline the sales pipeline to ensure swift conversions from initial demonstration to software onboarding, tailored to the quick decision-making speed of SME owners. Consultative Pricing Strategies: Structure attractive, high-volume subscription models that appeal to budget-conscious small businesses while ensuring profitability. Mass Market Lead Generation & Digital Marketing Inbound Lead Velocity: Partner with performance marketing teams to scale local SEO, Google Ads and targeted social media campaigns that reach localized business owners and regional HRs. Mass Communication & Demos: Drive automated email campaigns, localized product explainer videos, and group webinars to pitch features like geo-fencing, mobile facial recognition, and automated payroll. Regional Market Adaptation: Help tailor localized sales approaches to handle various SME business clusters across tiers 1, 2, and 3 in India. Team Leadership & Process Automation Manage High-Output Teams: Direct, mentor, and track the metrics of inside sales executives, field representatives, and customer onboarding specialists. KPI & Pipeline Hygiene: Oversee strict CRM tracking to monitor lead assignment, call volumes, demo-to-close ratios, and team response times. Direct Collaboration with the CEO: Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to share real-time market data on SME pain points, directly influencing pricing changes and feature development. Candidate Requirements Experience: 812 years of core experience in B2B sales, with at least 4 years leading high-volume sales teams in SaaS, tech solutions, fintech, or business services targeting the SME market. Domain Expertise: Proven success handling shorter, transactional sales cycles (closing multiple deals per month rather than multi-month enterprise deals). Experience with cloud-based HRMS/CRM software is a big advantage. Skills: Expert in inside sales metrics, automated pipeline tracking, performance marketing alignment, and high-impact software demonstrations. Education: Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or an equivalent field is required. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus, but substantial, proven success in B2B SaaS/Tech sales will be considered equivalent.
