Principal Engineer Process (India) Status: T4 (India-specific compensation band) Department: Engineering Process Position Summary The Principal Engineer Process is a recognized technical authority responsible for leading complex projects, product development & process packages for hydrogen generation systems and energy transition projects. This role provides expert-level guidance across projects, drives advanced design solutions, and leads multidisciplinary teams through complex design changes. The position requires deep expertise in design tools, change management processes, and safety-driven engineering practices, while acting as a design lead on one or more critical projects/tasks. Basic & Design Engineering activities for the assigned projects for process packages in the ELX product portfolio, Energy transition & oil & gas market. Preparation / review of PFD, P&ID;s, project specific specifications, design calculation/analysis and simulation, requisitions for procurement. Interface with other disciplines, vendors and clients. Provides technical support to both discipline as well as project teams. Preferably looking for knowledge of Hydrogen Domain Core Duties and Responsibilities Process Design & Detail Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing & selection of process internals and equipment etc. for pre-bid and for awarded Projects. Review of Clients RFQ documents, specifications, datasheets, verification of FEED design & calculations. Ensure smooth daily workflows by organizing schedules, delegating tasks, and troubleshooting immediate issues as they arise. Responsible for motivating and mentor team members. This includes training recent hires and identifying professional development opportunities. Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P&I; Diagrams, Process Datasheets, Equipment Datasheets, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosop .
