ob DescriptionPosition: Operation Command Center (OCC) Mechanical Sweeping Department: Operations Sanitation / Mechanical Sweeping Location: [Project / City Name] Reporting To: Operations Manager / Project Manager Job Summary The Operation Command Center (OCC) Mechanical Sweeping is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and controlling the daily operation of mechanical sweeping machines deployed for road and public area cleaning. The role ensures smooth field operations, timely deployment, fuel monitoring, manpower coordination, breakdown reporting, route tracking, and preparation of operational reports to achieve efficient and uninterrupted sanitation services. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Monitoring Monitor all mechanical sweeping machines during assigned shifts through GPS, phone communication, or other tracking systems.Ensure timely start and completion of sweeping operations as per approved schedules and route plans.Track machine movement, stoppages, productivity, and coverage of assigned roads and areas.Coordinate with field supervisors and operators for uninterrupted operations.Command & Coordination Maintain continuous communication with operators, supervisors, technical staff, and fuel-in-charge personnel.Escalate operational issues, machine breakdowns, accidents, route deviations, or emergency situations to the concerned authority.Ensure immediate follow-up for breakdown rectification and arrange standby support whenever required.Fuel & Resource Management Monitor daily fuel filling and consumption of all sweeping machines.Verify fuel reports, logbooks, and machine operating hours.Report abnormal fuel consumption or discrepancies to the Operations Manager.Reporting & Documentation Prepare and maintain:Daily Operation Report (DOR)Machine deployment reportBreakdown and downtime reportFuel consumption reportAttendance and shift reportsRoute completion status reportSubmit accurate reports within the prescribed timelines.Compliance & Quality Control Ensure operators follow safety rules, traffic regulations, and operational SOPs.Verify that machines are deployed only after completion of pre-start inspection and necessary technical checks.Monitor cleanliness standards and ensure assigned routes are completed as per municipal/client requirements.Shift Responsibilities Attend shift handover and takeover meetings.Maintain proper records of pending issues for the next shift.Provide 247 operational support whenever assigned for emergency or special cleaning drives.Required Qualifications Graduate / Diploma in any discipline.Preference for candidates with experience in sanitation, municipal solid waste management, road sweeping operations, fleet monitoring, or command center operations.Experience 25 years of experience in operations coordination, fleet monitoring, logistics control room, or sanitation/mechanical sweeping operations.Experience working with GPS tracking systems, MIS reporting, and field operations will be an added advantage.Key Skills Strong communication and coordination skills.Knowledge of mechanical sweeping operations and sanitation processes.Ability to handle multiple field teams simultaneously.Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, email, reporting software).Problem-solving and emergency response capability.Attention to detail in operational and fuel reporting.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 100% timely deployment of sweeping machines.Route completion percentage.Reduction in machine downtime.Accuracy of operational and fuel reports.Response time for breakdown escalation.Compliance with safety and operational SOPs.Working Conditions Rotational shifts including day, night, weekends, and public holidays.Coordination with field staff across multiple operational zones.Work may involve extended hours during emergency sanitation drives or special municipal operations.Compensation: 8,812.14 - 46,368.46 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursementProvident FundWork Location: In person .
