D. Job Description This postdoctoral research focuses on the design, optimization, and development of AI-integrated electric vehicle (EV) motor drive systems to improve the efficiency, reliability, and intelligence of next-generation electric mobility solutions. The research will investigate advanced motor topologies, power electronic converters, intelligent motor control strategies, and AI-driven optimization techniques to enhance torque performance, efficiency, thermal management, and fault tolerance. Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms will be employed for adaptive motor control, predictive maintenance, battery-aware energy management, and real-time performance optimization. The project will also explore the integration of EV motor drives with renewable energy-powered charging systems and smart grid infrastructure to support sustainable transportation. QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: PhD in Engineering Discipline Skill Required Proficiency in simulation, modelling, and optimization tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS Maxwell, Motor-CAD, Python, AI/ML frameworks, and embedded hardware platforms. Research experience in one or more of the following areas: Electric Vehicle Motor Drives Electric Machines Design and Analysis AI/Machine Learning for Engineering Applications Power Electronics and Motor Control Battery Management Systems Embedded Systems Renewable Energy Systems Smart Grid Integration Experience with electric vehicle motor design, power electronics, and real-time control implementation will be an added advantage.
