Job Description: Planning & Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer Company: Maa Acorn Site & Office Reports to: Project Head Role Objective To manage project lifecycles through precise cost estimation, site progress monitoring, and ensuring all structural works align with technical specifications and budgets. Key Responsibilities Quantity Surveying & Estimation Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) compliance reports. Project Planning & Scheduling Develop comprehensive project plans, work schedules, and forecast reports to ensure timely delivery within scope. Site Supervision & Quality Control Conduct on-site inspections to supervise progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols. Structural Oversight Monitor all structural and reinforcement works, verifying they meet technical design reports and conventional material standards (RCC, masonry, steel). Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary point of contact for sub-contractors and labor, while attending client meetings to discuss project status. Reporting Prepare RFI (Request for Information) reports for designers and compile status updates for relevant authorities.
