We are looking for a highly skilled Embedded Software / Firmware Developer with strong experience in Embedded Linux development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Yocto, UBoot, Linux Kernel customization, and system-level debugging, along with experience working on Texas Instruments (TI) and NXP platforms. The role involves design, development, customization, integration, and troubleshooting of embedded Linux-based systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Embedded Linuxbased software and firmware for embedded systems Build and customize Linux BSPs using Yocto Project Develop, port, and customize UBoot, Linux kernel, and device drivers Perform board bring-up and low-level debugging on new hardware platforms Analyze and resolve complex system-level issues related to boot, kernel, drivers, and middleware Work closely with hardware, validation, and application teams for seamless system integration Optimize system performance, boot time, and memory usage Ensure compliance with coding standards, quality processes, and documentation requirements Participate in code reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities Required Technical Skills Strong experience in Embedded Linux development (58 years) Hands-on expertise with: Yocto Project (bitbake, recipes, layers, BSP customization) UBoot customization and boot flow understanding Linux Kernel configuration, porting, and debugging OCI- Containerised application development Proficient in C / C++ programming for embedded systems Solid debugging skills using tools such as GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, or equivalent Experience with Texas Instruments (TI) and NXP processors/SoCs Good understanding of: Device Tree Build systems and cross-compilation Memory management and process scheduling CPU load analysis Experience with version control systems such as Git Preferred / Additional Skills Experience with driver development (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, USB, Ethernet, etc.) Familiarity .
