Hiring for Position :Application & Solutions Engineer BESS Experience: 58 Years Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Location: Bangalore Department: Engineering Job Role & Responsibilities Drive product strategy and roadmap for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) aligned with market and business requirements.Analyse customer requirements and develop optimized BESS solutions (Techno-Commercial Documents).Work closely with Sales & Business Development teams to support customer engagements, technical discussions, and solution positioning.Lead technical documentation, product specifications, and solution architecture for proposals and customer requirements.Coordinate with Design team, supply chain, and project teams to ensure smooth product development, delivery, and lifecycle management.Perform system sizing calculations (kWh, kW, C-rate, backup time, etc.) based on use case.Support pre-sales and post-sales activities including technical discussions with clients.Evaluate and integrate key components such as BMS, PCS, EMS, and battery packs.Perform system testing & validation, FAT/SAT support, and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance with applicable standards (IEC, UL, IEEE, etc.).Provide technical training and documentation to internal/external stakeholders. Specific Expertise Required Strong understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) architecture.Hands-on experience with Li-ion batteries, BMS, inverters (PCS), and EMS.Knowledge of electrical system design, HV/LV systems, and protection schemes.Good understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.Good hands-on experience in MS Excel, PPT, Word, and AI tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Technical / Functional Skills Bachelors Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Energy Engineering.Experience preferably in utility-scale BESS projects/Lithium-ion battery/Mobile Battery Unit/solar + storage integration.Familiarity with EMS, SCADA, data logging, and remote monitoring systems.Exposure to international standards and tendering processes. .
