Senior Data Analyst

This position will be accountable for the design, development, architecture and deployment of data extraction and transformation and business intelligence primarily using best in class software engineering practices with help of relevant technologies and tools on MS BI platform. The position is based out of Kolkata Requirements Roles and responsibilities Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems Guide teams in collecting data, developing custom analysis tools, analyzing results and creating high- quality deliverables Convert business requirements to a structured problem and develop advanced statistical solutions for the same Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. Take initiative to advance problem solving skills Synthesize and communicate results to clients Skills & Qualifications Professional experience with database technologies and ETL tools (SSIS and Azure Data factory). Excellent knowledge in SQL scripting with complex query. Hands-on experience with PowerBI. Hands-on experience in reporting and representing data with MS Excel. Hands-on experience on designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure data factory, Azure data bricks, Python, Py spark etc. Good knowledge of AZURE Cloud platform services stack - Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, AZURE Data Warehouse, Azure Data bricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, HDInsight, Cosmos DB, etc. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with team members and clients. Should have hands-on experience designing and developing stored procedures/functions and leveraging ETL packages/workflows. Should have hands-on experience on designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in any programming knowledge i.e. PowerShell, Python/Java etc. Design develop and Test ETL processes per business requirements. Load/extract data from multiple cloud applications like Salesforce.com etc. and legacy applications (e.g., SQL Server). Define and document complex technical design/requirements for integrations and data warehousing. Experience extracting technical and operational Metadata using ETL tools. Develop and adhere to established programming, change management processes and standards; including naming conventions, formations and program structure Should be skilled in creating architecture and design documentation and knowledge of data engineering tools & technologies.
