Job role Playwright Automation Tester Employment Type: Contract Duration: 3-6 months (extd) Experience: 5 - 8 Years Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra Joining: Immediate Joiner About the Role We are looking for an experienced Playwright Automation Tester to join our QA team on a contract basis and take ownership of software quality through robust test automation and continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience in End-to-End (E2E) test automation using Playwright and JavaScript, along with expertise in CodeceptJS, Appium, Redis, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust End-to-End (E2E) automation frameworks using Playwright. Develop and maintain automated test cases using CodeceptJS. Perform mobile application automation testing using Appium. Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts using JavaScript. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Perform functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and end-to-end testing. Work on testing across web and mobile applications and ensure consistent product quality. Validate APIs and backend integrations as part of the overall automation strategy. Work with Redis and understand its role in application workflows, data handling, and test validation. Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify quality risks and resolve issues effectively. Take ownership of quality and continuously identify opportunities to improve automation and testing practices. Requirements 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for End-to-End (E2E) automation. Strong programming experience in JavaScript. Hands-on experience with CodeceptJS. Experience in Appium and mobile application automation testing. Experience working with Red .
