The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities: Data Management and Preparation - Data Sourcing & Integration: Identifying and connecting to various data sources, including databases (SQL, BigQuery), data warehouses, cloud services (Google Cloud), and flat files. - ETL/ELT Development: Designing, building, and maintaining Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) pipelines to move and prepare data for analysis. - Data Modelling: Structuring and organising data into logical models within a data warehouse or data mart to optimise for performance and reporting. - Data Quality and Cleansing: Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by identifying and resolving errors, duplicates, and discrepancies. Analysis and Reporting - Data Analysis: Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Answering key business questions through exploratory data analysis. - Report and Dashboard Development: Designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Looker Studio. - KPI and Metric Tracking: Working with business stakeholders to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and developing reports to track them against company goals.
