Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence, data integration, data modeling, and visual reporting. The primary role will be to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business decision-making. Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create, design, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations. Data Modeling: Develop data models and establish connections to multiple data sources, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. ETL and Data Preparation: Transform and prepare data from various sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud databases) to ensure it's suitable for reporting. Data Analysis: Analyze business data to provide insights and support decision-making. Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather specifications, and align solutions with business needs. Documentation: Document processes, definitions, and calculations used within reports for reference and future maintenance. Performance Tuning: Optimize performance of Power BI reports and troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless user experience. Training: Provide end-user training and support to ensure efficient use of the Power BI platform. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and data analytics. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Strong knowledge of data integration and ETL processes. Experience with SQL and ability to write complex queries. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database management. Understanding of other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate Relevant certifications in Power BI, data analysis, or related technologies.
