Designation: Cloud Data Protection Engineers - Senior Job Description: The role of Cloud Data Protection Engineers is a senior consultant role and involve the following roles and responsibilities: Provide storage & backup infrastructure assessment, transformation roadmap, storage management & performance troubleshooting across on-prem and public cloud. Manage storage & backup infrastructure deployment, data migration and upgrade engagements across on-prem and public cloud Efficient in Data management strategy & advisory across on-prem & public cloud platform Efficient in Data backup, security and cyber resiliency strategy & advisory across on-prem & public cloud platform Public cloud (either one of AWS, Azure & GCP) service deployment & management experience Good understanding of storage & backup solutions across on-prem and public cloud platform Good understanding of Storage Solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, Object Storage) across on-prem and public cloud platform Good understanding of Backup Solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup) across on-prem & public cloud platform Provide best fit disaster recovery solutions considering current infrastructure landscape which is align with customers business objective Conduct infrastructure assessments and analyse existing technology landscape around storage, backup and other infrastructure technologies Develop technology strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices. Provide recommendations for technology investments, upgrades, and improvements. Manage technology projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources and stakeholders. Stay updated on emerging storage, backup & data management technologies and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and results. Identify opportunities for process improvements within client organizations and propose actionable solutions. Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices. Good to have Presales & Bid Management experience on Storage, Backup or Data Centre and IT Infrastructure Desired Profile 4+ years of total experience whereas currently working as Public Cloud consultant across all infrastructure services deployment & management with past background of storage & backup infrastructure management 3+ years of experience in storage & backup services deployment & management across on-prem & public cloud 2+ years of experience in public cloud services deployment & management 1+ years of experience around infrastructure automation experience through terraform (Infrastructure as a code IaC), ansible (Configuration management) etc Awareness on Data Centre and IT Infrastructure technologies (Virtualization, Compute, Storage, Backup etc.) Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
