As a Support Engineer in our dynamic team, your key responsibilities will include:- Providing front line support to clients and collaborating with application developers and infrastructure teams to resolve issues within stipulated SLAs.- Triage and analyze technical issues encountered in different applications & Identifying opportunities for improvement and automation, and implementing productive solutions.- Learning iteratively about functional and business functions.Required qualifications and skills for this role:- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Support Engineer/ Sr. Support Engineer.- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Grafana.- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS, and Experience with Python, coding/scripting, or automating manual tasks.- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows servers.- Attention to detail, curiosity, and experience in troubleshooting.- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical problems.- Collecting, triaging, and troubleshooting production support incidents following standard procedures.- Participating in a 24x7 on-call support Setting up monitoring for applications, platforms, and IT infrastructure.- Creating and maintaining documentation and knowledgebase for team members and clients.- Utilizing analytical skills to determine root causes, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities.- Excellent communication and technical skills to own and resolve production support issues within SLAs.- Handling user queries and monitoring requests, providing timely updates to stakeholders.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, development, and support globally.Good to have skills:- Familiarity with test-driven code development and SCM tools like Git.- Experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence, JIRA, and ServiceDesk.- Experience in the Financial domain is a strong plus.- Strong business focus and understanding that technology enables business goals.- Understanding multi-tiered applications in terms of software components, CI/CD pipelines, deployment environments.Educational Qualification:- Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant STEM field.
