TCTS Hiring for FTTX Network Engineer- Planning & Designing Experience: Minimum 2 Years Qualification: Graduation (BE/BTech) Support Level: L1/L1.5 Location: Chennai & Pune Shift: Australian shifts (1.30am- 10.30am / 2.30am-11.30am / 3.30am to 12.30pm / 7am-4pm) Position: Permanent We are looking for Immediate joiner or maximum upto 30 days Notice Period. 2+ years of Professional/Technical Experience in Telecom with good knowledge in Planning & Designing of FTTX Network and Hands-on experience in using GIS/drafting Tools like MapInfo/Spatial net/AutoCAD/ QGIS and should be capable of handling team and Quality Factory. - Knowledge of ANZ region Fiber Network Architecture and specifications. - Sound understanding of OSP/ISP construction standards and field practices, planning and design expertise in FTTP, FTTB, FTTC, FTTN, HFC technology. - Preferred Positive understanding of Method of Measurements for Design and construction of FTTx Network & MDU and should be able to prepare the BOQ and BOM for MDU Designs Key Responsibilities - Planning and Design of FTTx Network using GIS tools. - Quality Control on design delivery - Training and Efficiency improvement with team members - Should be able to work on different GIS datasets and create new information or investigate patterns using MAP-INFO, QGIS or other GIS tools like ArcGIS, Spatial net etc. - End to end delivery designs services including but not limited to Detail Design, Survey Packs, validating survey reports and site designs received from the field, create Construction Plans in AutoCAD, BOM/BOQ - Communicate with stakeholders on the rejections and corrective actions. - Coordinating with the Field Teams for the required information - Preparing and interpreting specifications, drawings and regulations for the use of telecommunications equipment - Create power designs as per power utility guidelines. - Communicate with field teams for any additional data/clarification required Technical Competencies - Unders .
