IT System Administrator / Network Administrator Job Summary We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator with strong networking skills to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the organizations IT infrastructure. The role involves server administration, network management, system security, user support, backups, monitoring, and ensuring high availability of IT services. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure.Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity.Manage routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and other network devices.Configure VLANs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, NAT, routing, and network security.Monitor network and server performance and resolve outages proactively.Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and access control.Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems and applications.Perform regular data backups and support disaster recovery procedures.Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.Maintain IT asset inventory, system documentation, and network diagrams.Implement antivirus/EDR, endpoint security, firewall policies, and security best practices.Manage Microsoft 365/email systems and cloud-based IT services where applicable.Provide technical support to users and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT/network-related issues.Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and organizational procedures.Qualifications Bachelors degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or a related field.25+ years of experience in system administration and networking.Certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft, CompTIA, Fortinet, or equivalent are an advantage.Key Skills System AdministrationNetwork AdministrationServer ManagementFirewall & VPNActive DirectoryWindows/LinuxCisco/Aruba/HP NetworkingBackup & Disaster RecoveryIT SecurityTroubleshootingUser & Desktop SupportIT Asset ManagementSend CV at career@ganeshgouriindustries.com Preferred Candidate A proactive IT professional who can independently troubleshoot infrastructure issues, maintain network and server availability, implement security best practices, and provide reliable technical support to users.
