About the Role We are looking for an experienced Linux & Storage Administrator L2 to manage and support enterprise Linux, KVM virtualization, storage, and Ceph environments. The role involves system administration, storage management, cluster monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and data center operations. Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Yearly Contract Basis Experience: Minimum 5 Years Working Days: Monday to Saturday Shift: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and administer Red Hat, SUSE, and other Linux operating systems. Manage KVM hypervisors, virtual machines, networking, and storage. Perform OS hardening, patch management, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Manage users, groups, permissions, file systems, LVM, and system services. Administer and monitor Ceph / PetaSAN storage environments. Support Ceph RBD, CephFS, RGW, replication, erasure coding, and cluster operations. Monitor storage, CPU, memory, disk, and network utilization. Support server, storage, and data center infrastructure. Perform backup, recovery, VAPT remediation, and security-related activities. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and coordinate with vendors and support teams. Use Shell/PowerShell scripting for automation and operational activities. Provide L2 support and ensure timely resolution of incidents within defined SLAs. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in Linux Administration. Experience with Ceph / PetaSAN Storage. Hands-on experience with KVM Hypervisor. Knowledge of LVM, file systems, storage, and server administration. Experience with Ceph RBD, CephFS, RGW, replication, and cluster management. Knowledge of Shell scripting and basic PowerShell. Experience in patch management, OS hardening, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience Requirements Overall Experience: Minimum 5 Years Ceph / PetaSAN: 3+ Years Linux / Hypervisor: 3+ Years New Server / Rack / Cluster Setup: 3+ Years Existing Linux & Storage Cluster Support: 4+ Years Qualification Diploma / B.Sc. IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
