Role Description The System Administrator will support and maintain the technical infrastructure that powers the vfxanimationjobs platform. This part-time hybrid role is based in Kochi, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring system performance, applying updates and patches, managing user accounts and permissions, and ensuring data security and backup processes are in place. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing technical support to internal users, and collaborating with the team to implement system improvements. The System Administrator will document procedures, maintain configuration records, and help ensure reliable uptime for platform users. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to assess system performance, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network problems.Solid foundation in information technology, including operating systems, networking basics, and security best practices.Clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support non-technical stakeholders.Experience with system administration tools and practices (e.g., user management, backups, monitoring, patch management).Ability to work independently, manage part-time schedules effectively, and operate in a hybrid on-site/remote environment.Relevant certification or education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Linux certifications).Familiarity with web platforms or online communities, ideally within creative or media industries, is an advantage. .
