Roles and Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for large-scale applications on Linux platforms. - Perform database backups, recovery, and migration tasks to ensure data integrity and availability. - Troubleshoot complex database issues using various tools such as SQL profilers and debugging utilities. - Collaborate with development teams to design scalable database architectures that meet business requirements. Job Requirements : - 8-14 years of experience in database administration with expertise in PostgreSQL. - Solid knowledge of Linux operating system and ability to work at the command line. - Experience with database backup strategies, recovery procedures, and migration techniques. - Proficiency in performing performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. .
