Database Administrator (Postgresql & MongoDB) | Gurgaon | Hybrid | Immediate

Job Role: Database Administrator (Postgresql & MongoDB) Experience: 8 Years Location: Gurgaon Only Required Qualifications: - 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator in production environments - Strong operational expertise with PostgreSQL (version 10+) administration, replication, tuning, HA, backups - Strong operational expertise with MongoDB (version 5+) replica sets, sharding, tuning, backups, administration - Proficiency in writing and analyzing complex SQL queries and MongoDB aggregation pipelines - Deep understanding of database internals storage engines, WAL/journaling, MVCC, indexing, buffer management - Experience with database monitoring and alerting tools (pgAdmin, pg_stat_statements, MongoDB Compass, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana) - Hands-on experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures - Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and shell scripting (Bash, Python) - Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Experience managing databases in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues under pressure - Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting - Experience with PostgreSQL HA tools Patroni, pgpool-II, repmgr, Barman, pgBackRest, logical replication - MongoDB sharded cluster design, resharding, and chunk migration experience - Experience with cloud-managed databases AWS RDS/DocumentDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL/AlloyDB - Familiarity with database migration tools (pgLoader, mongorestore, AWS DMS) - Experience with connection poolers (PgBouncer, mongos) - Relevant certifications (MongoDB Certified DBA, PostgreSQL certifications, AWS/Azure database specialties) .
