Job description: Job Description Grafana L3 Engineer / Administrator Experience: 6+ Years Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Grafana L3 Engineer/Administrator to manage and support enterprise Grafana environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Grafana administration, dashboard engineering, observability platforms, troubleshooting, automation, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain Grafana Enterprise/Open Source environments. Design and develop advanced dashboards for infrastructure, application, cloud, and business monitoring. Integrate Grafana with data sources such as Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, and Splunk. Configure alerting rules, notification channels, reporting, and escalation workflows. Troubleshoot dashboard, alerting, integration, and platform performance issues and perform RCA. Optimize Grafana platform performance, scalability, reliability, and availability. Manage Grafana security, RBAC, LDAP/SSO/OAuth authentication, and access controls. Automate administration activities using Grafana APIs, Python/Bash scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Perform upgrades, migrations, backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities. Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to enhance observability and monitoring solutions. Required Skills 6+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on expertise in Grafana Administration and Monitoring Platforms. Experience with Grafana Enterprise/Open Source installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of LGTM stack: Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir, and Prometheus. Hands-on experience implementing observability solutions using OpenTelemetry. Expertise in dashboard development, alert management, and monitoring best practices. Experience integrating Grafana with databases and monitoring tools. Strong understanding of Linux administration. Good SQL knowledge and database connectivity/integration experience. Experience with AWS and/or Azure monitoring services. Knowledge of incident, event, capacity, and performance monitoring processes. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise monitoring environments. Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash for automation. Preferred Skills Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native monitoring. Exposure to CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code. Grafana or Observability-related certifications are an added advantage. Do 1. Provide tool design, development and deployment support for the project delivery a. Interact with the internal project or client to understand the project requirement from a tool perspective b. Design the solution keeping in mind the tool requirements, current tools available as well as details on licenses required etc. c. Provide budget and timeline estimates for the tool development/ deployment as required d. For any new tool development, identify sources for development (internal or 3rd party) and work with the project managers on the development of the tool keeping in mind the production rollout timelines e. Conduct commercial discussions with the 3rd party vendors for licenses or tool development f. Conduct appropriate testing to ensure error free deployment of the tool on the project g. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
