WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS DAY TO DAY Designing, building, running and monitoring Okta's production infrastructure. Leading initiatives to strengthen the security posture of critical infrastructure. Responding to production incidents and working out how to prevent them recurring. Triaging and troubleshooting complex production issues. Identifying and automating manual processes. Continuously evolving the monitoring tools and platform. Writing and maintaining runbooks, procedures and technical documentation. We publish 2 years because that is what the requirements section states, but expect the interview to be pitched well above the title. HONEST FIT GUIDANCE An SRE or cloud infrastructure engineer with two or more years who is strong on Linux, AWS networking and infrastructure as code, and who wants security to be the centre of the job rather than an afterthought.
