Role Description The Solar PV Module Test Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at our laboratory facility in Noida. This role involves planning and executing tests on solar PV modules to verify performance, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing test setups, developing and reviewing test cases, performing functional and environmental tests, documenting test results, and preparing detailed technical reports. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret test data, suggest improvements in product design and quality, and ensure adherence to laboratory procedures and safety protocols. The role also includes maintaining test equipment, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and workflows. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing for solar PV modules or related electro-mechanical products. Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with well-defined Test Cases. Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Functional Testing methodologies and performance validation. Relevant skills such as familiarity with IEC/IS 14286, 61730-1, 61730-2 and orher EN and UL standards for PV modules, electrical measurements, and data analysis are beneficial. Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field is preferred. Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment, follow documented procedures, and maintain accurate technical documentation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and communicate test results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience in product testing laboratories, solar industry, or quality assurance will be considered an advantage. Reporting Results and Prepare Test report as per BIS format. .
