Job Title Automation Test Engineer Experience 8 to 10 Years Location-Bangalore, Hyderabad Employment Type- Permanent, Contractual Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in modern test automation tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in test automation, software quality assurance, and testing methodologies, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. - Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, scalability, and maintainability. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle. - Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives. - Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software releases. - Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and quality process improvements. - Prepare and maintain test documentation, reports, and metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing. - Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium. - Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. - Valuable understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - ISTQB or relevant testing certification is a plus. .
