Job Description ETL Developer Job Title: ETL Developer / Senior ETL Developer Experience: 6+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Work Mode: On-site / Hybrid Job Summary We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in ETL development, data warehousing, SQL, data transformation, data validation, performance optimization, and integration of data from multiple source systems. The candidate will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, database administrators, reporting teams, and other stakeholders to build reliable and scalable data pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows and data integration processes. Extract data from multiple sources including relational databases, files, APIs, and other systems. Transform and cleanse data according to business requirements. Load transformed data into data warehouses, databases, and reporting systems. Develop reusable and scalable ETL mappings, workflows, and processes. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and scripts. Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems. Identify and resolve data quality and data integrity issues. Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for improved performance. Monitor scheduled ETL workflows and resolve job failures. Implement error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms. Work with business analysts to understand data requirements. Collaborate with database administrators and data/reporting teams. Support production ETL processes and troubleshoot data-related issues. Maintain technical documentation for ETL workflows and data mappings. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning. Contribute to data architecture and integration discussions. Required Skills 6+ years of professional ETL/Data Integration experience. Strong experience in ETL development and data warehousing. Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries. Experience with one or more ETL tools such as: Informatica Talend SSIS Azure Data Factory Pentaho Similar ETL technologies Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Experience with data validation and reconciliation. Strong knowledge of database concepts, indexes, joins, stored procedures, and query optimization. Experience troubleshooting ETL failures and production data issues. Good understanding of data warehouse concepts such as fact tables, dimension tables, and star/snowflake schemas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good to Have Experience with cloud-based data platforms. Azure Data Factory experience. AWS Glue or similar cloud ETL services. Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks experience. Python scripting. Experience with REST API-based data integration. Knowledge of data lakes and modern data architecture. Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools. Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M or similar. Git/version control experience. CI/CD for ETL pipelines. Experience handling large-volume datasets. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 6+ years of relevant ETL/Data Engineering experience. Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
