Job Description: Head Supply Chain Management Vertical: Supply Chain Department: Head of Department Location: Mumbai Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering and Masters Degree in Management (Specialization in Materials Management/ Operations preferred) Experience: 18+ years leading Supply Chain Management, with at least 5+ years as a Functional Head Hands-on experience in SAP (MM, MRP, SD modules) and advanced supply chain analytics. Certifications in CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma will be an added advantage. Job Description The Head of Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain function, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics and distribution. This role plays a critical part in driving gross margin expansion, cost efficiency, and operational excellence while ensuring seamless supply chain operations to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have robust strategic acumen, leadership capabilities and hands-on experience in managing complex supply chains in high-growth environments. Key Responsibilities: Demand & Supply Planning Develop and moderate demand forecasts in collaboration with sales, marketing and finance teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Optimize inventory levels through data-driven analysis, minimizing excess stock while ensuring product availability. Prepare and present periodic supply chain performance scorecards, dashboards and insights for senior management review. Implement best practices in demand planning to improve forecast accuracy and reduce supply chain disruptions. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on cost, quality, technology and reliability. Conduct spend analysis, vendor capacity assessments, and supplier performance reviews to optimize procurement strategies. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achie .
