Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join our team as a Cash Management Trainer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of monetary intake principles, particularly within the context of the US healthcare system and revenue cycle management. This role involves developing and delivering training programs to equip payment posting specialists, refunds and credits specialists, and bank reconciliation specialists with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Responsibilities Curriculum Development: Assist with design and development of comprehensive training curriculum covering various aspects of US healthcare payments, including electronic 835s and manual payer EOBs, the posting of insurance allowable, patient portions, denials, adjustments, contractual allowances, recoups, forward balancing, credit balances, and reconciliation of deposited cash against posted payments. Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to individuals and groups of payment posting professionals. Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards. Quality Assurance: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Continuously update and refine training materials to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on multi-specialty (Anesthesia/ ED/ Radiology, etc.) cash management practices, regulations, and client requirements in the US healthcare system. Mentorship and Support: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees, assisting them in applying their knowledge effectively in real-world scenarios. Address any challenges or questions related to cash management with professionalism and expertise. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as human resources, compliance, and operations, to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals and objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in any related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in US medical billing & 2 years of experience in training, with a strong understanding of cash management, payment posting, and credit balances. Must be able to travel to other service delivery centers as needed. .
