Team Leader Australian Tax Company: Safebooks Global Location: Ahmedabad (Work From Office) Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM IST Experience: 4+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Safebooks Global is seeking an experienced Team Leader Australian Tax to manage end-to-end Australian tax compliance and lead a team of tax professionals. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws, review experience, and the ability to manage client relationships and deadlines effectively. Key Responsibilities Review and finalize Individual (ITR), Company, Trust, and Partnership tax returns Oversee preparation of BAS, IAS, GST returns, and FBT returns Ensure compliance with ATO regulations and deadlines Supervise, train, and mentor junior tax team members Conduct quality checks and review workpapers Handle complex tax matters and research queries Manage client communication and resolve tax-related issues Monitor workflow, deadlines, and team productivity Support tax planning and advisory assignments Assist in handling ATO notices and audit queries Requirements Required Qualifications 4+ years of Australian Tax experience Strong expertise in ITR, Company, Trust & Partnership returns Hands-on experience with BAS, GST, IAS, and FBT Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance Experience in team handling and work review Proficiency in accounting/tax software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiSoft, etc.) Strong analytical and leadership skills Preferred Profile CA / CPA (Australia) / CA Inter Experience working with Australian accounting firms Exposure to tax planning and advisory services Strong client communication skills BenefitsWhat We Offer Exposure to Australian clients Leadership growth opportunity Competitive salary package Professional and structured work environment To Apply: Send your resume + a short note on how youve helped a company grow to SHAILESH@SAFEBOOKSGLOBAL.COM and JOBS@SAFEBOOKSGLOBAL.COM These positions are urgent, and we are looking for candidates who are available to join immediately.
