We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US Tax Reviewer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in US taxation for a contractual period of 2 months. The ideal candidate must have significant experience preparing and reviewing US tax returns, mentoring junior team members, ensuring compliance with US tax regulations, and managing multiple tax engagements efficiently. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of US federal and state taxation and be capable of independently reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts while maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review US federal and state tax returns for Individuals (Form 1040), Partnerships (Form 1065), Corporations (Form 1120), S-Corporations (Form 1120S), and Trusts (Forms 1041), as applicable. Review work prepared by junior tax associates and provide constructive feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax returns in accordance with IRS and state regulations. Analyze financial statements, trial balances, and supporting documentation for tax return preparation and review. Identify tax planning opportunities and recommend tax-saving strategies while ensuring compliance. Conduct technical tax research and provide guidance on complex tax matters. Assist in responding to IRS notices, state tax notices, audits, and tax authority correspondence. Maintain high-quality workpapers and documentation supporting tax engagements. Coordinate with clients and internal teams to obtain necessary tax information and resolve tax-related issues. Monitor changes in US tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on client engagements. Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and ensure adherence to deadlines. Support managers and leadership with tax planning, advisory, and special projects as required. Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to junior tax professionals. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in US Taxation, including tax return review responsibilities. Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax laws and regulations. Extensive experience with Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1041. Experience reviewing tax returns prepared by staff and ensuring quality control standards. Hands-on experience with tax software such as Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, GoSystem Tax RS, Intuit ProConnect Tax, Intuit Lacerte, CCH Axcess Tax, or similar professional tax preparation platforms. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax workpaper management. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: 100,000.00 - 150,000.00 per month Experience: US taxation : 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote .
