You will act as a subjectmatter expert for standard costing and inventory accounting and provide oversight, governance, and leadership across the process. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the endtoend annual standard costing process, including planning, execution, review, and governance. This includes updates to clinical costing and Raw Material costing.Oversees product-costing updates in SAP S/4HanaEnsure accuracy and integrity of material, BOM, routing, labor, and overhead standards in SAPLead absorption costing, excess capacity analysis, and related accounting assessmentsOversee inventory accounting and valuation, including monthly close, reconciliations, and rollforwardsPerform and review detailed cost and inventory variance analysis, providing insights to global stakeholdersAct as a key finance partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Cost Accounting and Operations Finance teamsSupport S/4HANA implementation, enhancements, and global standardization of costing processesDrive process improvements, automation, and digital initiatives within standard costing and inventory accountingManage and review work performed by junior team members or outsourced service providers, as applicableAssist to provide responses to internal and external audits related to inventory and costingSupport strategic initiatives related to network optimization, new product introductions, and business expansionsWhat we expect of you The professional we seek is a strong finance leader with deep technical expertise and a transformation mindset: Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or inventory accountingProven experience owning standard costing processes in a complex manufacturing environmentStrong working knowledge of SAP / S/4HANAFluency in EnglishPreferred Qualifications Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant or MBA (Finance)Audit or Big 4 Public Accounting experienceExperience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of US GAAP inventory accountingExcellent analytical, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to operate effectively in a global, crossfunctional, matrixed organizationMindset to drive transformation and optimize processesAbility to take initiative and work with a minimum level of direction in a fast-paced environment. .
