A Documentation Manager oversees the creation, quality, organization, and lifecycle of a companys physical and digital information. They lead teams of technical writers or document controllers, establish standard style guides, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage content management systems (CMS) or document management systems (DMS). Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and direct technical writers, editors, or document control specialists. System & Lifecycle Management: Build and maintain centralized repositories for digital and physical records, ensuring strict version control and seamless data retrieval. Content Strategy & Standards: Develop company-wide style guides, document templates, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a unified voice and accuracy.
