Accounting Manager Remote (Work from anywhere)

Fully remote, no night shifts, no commute - work directly with a US finance team from anywhere in India. This is not a BPO role MAVI partners with high-growth US startups and SMEs, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly within their finance teams. In India, we are building finance leaders who go beyond execution and take ownership of teams, processes, and client outcomes. This is not a traditional accounting manager role. You will lead accounting operations for US clients while mentoring and developing your team in a fast-moving environment. The Opportunity As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US clients, managing a team of accountants and working directly with US Controllers and CFOs. You will be a key finance partner responsible for accuracy, scalability, and continuous process improvement. What You Will Own Lead end-to-end accounting (Record-to-Report) for US clientsManage and mentor a team of accountants ensuring quality and professional growthOversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cyclesReview and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAPManage multi-location revenue accounting, COGS tracking, and operational expense reconciliationsAct as primary US client contact, building strong stakeholder relationshipsPartner with Controllers and CFOs to support reporting and financial insightsDrive process automation and workflow improvementsEnsure audit readiness and manage auditor interactions What We're Looking For 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertisePrior experience in team management or mentoringBackground in hospitality, restaurant tech, or multi-location businesses a strong plusStrong understanding of close cycles, financial reporting, and internal controlsERP experience (NetSuite, Toast, QuickBooks, or similar)CA / CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferredExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work with US time zone overlap Why Join MAVI Lead finance for some of the most exciting US companiesBuild and manage high-performing accounting teamsHigh ownership and direct visibility with US leadershipFast-track career path to Finance Controller and Head of Finance rolesFlexible remote work with global impactCompensation in USD .
