The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of chemical industry segments, hands-on Power BI and Advanced Excel expertise, and the ability to turn complex data into clear business insights. Strong research, report writing, data management, and stakeholder communication skills will be key to success in this role. Responsibilities Conducting secondary research on chemical industry segments, market trends, competitors, and industry developments. Analysing market and company data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights. Managing, cleaning, validating, and organising datasets using Advanced Excel and data management techniques. Developing Power BI dashboards and visualisations to communicate research findings effectively. Preparing research reports, presentations, charts, and analytical summaries for consulting assignments. Tracking developments across specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, and related chemical markets. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand research requirements and deliver relevant insights. Presenting research findings and analytical insights in a clear and structured manner. Requirements Holding a postgraduate qualification in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemicals, or a related discipline; M.Tech Chemical Engineering or M.Sc Chemistry preferred. Bringing 1+ years of experience in consulting, secondary research, market research, business research, or market intelligence. Demonstrating exposure to the chemical industry, particularly specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, or related segments. Possessing hands-on experience with Power BI and strong proficiency in Advanced Excel. Demonstrating strong data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Possessing strong report writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication capabilities. Having the ability to conduct independent research and synthesise information from multiple sources.
