Role details: Title / Designation: Account Manager Oil & Gas Automation / Fuel Retail Tech, APAC Reporting Manager: EVP Global Sales Location: Home-based in one of: Malaysia / Philippines / Thailand / Indonesia / Cambodia / Vietnam covering the broader APAC territory Role & responsibilities: Build full Account Plans for downstream Oil & Gas accounts across the assigned countries, formalizing account relationship strategy and a growth plan that maximizes customer share across all products. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OMCs and downstream operators across assigned territories. Sustain, nurture, and grow existing ONG accounts through strategic engagement, crosssell, and upsell, leveraging deep downstream vertical knowledge and articulating the company's evolving software offering. Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams (Pre-sales, Software, Operations, and Services) to create a compelling narrative for clients from initial contact through end-user experience, ensuring an exceptional Total Customer Experience. Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene using CRM systems for lead, opportunity, and deal registration management across the full pre-lead-to-post-conversion lifecycle. Build and develop market awareness and brand recognition across the APAC region. Candidate requirements: 8+ years' experience in account management and/or software sales in the APAC region, with a track record selling automation solution preferably Fuel Station Automation, POS, Fleet Management, or Payment & Loyalty platforms Deep experience in the downstream Oil & Gas industry, with strong understanding of end clients (OMCs) across APAC and demonstrable, active contacts within Oil Marketing Companies Comfort operating in a matrixed, cross-functional sales environment (working across Presales, Software, Operations, and Services) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related technical or business discipline Excellence in skills relevant across the sales lifecycle, ranging from domain knowledge, solutioning, software product knowledge, sales presentations, lead generation, qualification and conversion, account farming / mining, negotiation, bid creation, and presentation.
