An Ideal Candidate: Ideal candidate should have 8+ years in automotive OEM industry with B.Tech or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. Preferably working with Global OEM / TIER-1 in supplier development & supplier Quality roles. Experience with development of casting / forging parts / Welding commodity parts. Key Competencies: Audit & Approve Suppliers for Global Sourcing Project in line with Global Standards and requirements. Participate in Technical reviews and proactively identify supplier/part/technology related risks ahead of nomination.Effectively participate in purchasing decision/supplier nomination by providing inputs to Purchaser & lead supplier improvements actions to closure for nominated suppliers Ensure parts availability at Plant Berlin for each build phase in line to company news. Conduct part level risk analysis for a project. Aligning and carrying out agreed Q activities during the various stages of development (Proto, Off-tool/Off-Process, pre PPAP, PPAP) Ensure compliance of documentation submission in company document management system for proof of successful Ensure agreed Q Metrics (Quality, Delivery, Sustainability) are met by Suppliers. b. Support & develop Supplier Development actions and follow-up for effective implementation, PlanConduct yearly Requalification audits at Supplier Ensure Quality topics (from assembly line, end of line audits and field/warranty) in series production parts are resolved in accordance to company requirements and ensure implementation robust preventive and corrective actions with Supplier LPKM (quality and Delivery, Stock/ Supply chain situation- Monitoring and implementation of measures in case of deviationsHandle Change management in series parts risk assessment, support validation of change in process & ensure right time implementation with required documentation. .
