Job Summary The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, training & development, and HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the manufacturing industry and be capable of managing both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, engineers, supervisors, and plant workforce. Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. Handle employee onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities. Drive performance management, goal setting, appraisal cycles, and succession planning. Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations. Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and employee records. Resolve employee grievances and maintain healthy employee relations. Plan and execute employee engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives. Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs. Maintain HRMIS and prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics. Support audits related to HR, ISO, statutory, and compliance requirements. Work closely with department heads to plan manpower and organizational development. Ensure disciplinary procedures are followed as per company policies. Promote a positive workplace culture and drive HR best practices. Desired Candidate Profile MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent. 1012 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing or engineering companies. Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll processes, and employee relations. Experience handling both white-collar and blue-collar workforce. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Hands-on experience with HRMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities. Preferred Experience Manufacturing, engineering, industrial, fabrication, or heavy engineering industry experience. Experience managing a workforce of 150+ employees. Exposure to ISO audits and HR compliance documentation. Ability to work independently and partner with business leaders.
