Job Context The Legal department would validate the regulatory & compliance requirements for the new business initiatives and product launches, conclude the litigations raised by or against the company, establish a sound corporate governance framework, execute legal agreements and provide transactional support in the investment processes. State / Area Legal Manager is responsible for providing assistance for all legal requirements of the organization pertaining to the litigation aspect. He/ she would provide complete assistance to the Regional Legal Manager. This would include coordination with counsels for litigation, assisting in legal / statutory audits and maintaining detailed MIS and coverage reports of the proceedings. To give evidence, examine as witness on behalf of ABFL filed cases, To assist in formulating the pleadings of the lawsuits To assist in formulating the claims & counter claims, arguments & evidences for the cases Updating status of cases filed against directors and against the company Draft/respond to notices sent by customers/counter parties/statutory authorities. To coordinate with external counsels & law firms. To coordinate with advocates on record .
