We are looking for someone who can bring robust design expertise in Workday Absence and Time Off, with experience across multiple Workday implementations, including BAU support, and a deep understanding of how the module operates in practice. The ideal candidate should have experience managing complex global absence policies and simplifying them where appropriate, while bringing best-practice insights and industry-leading approaches to Absence and Time Off design. They should also understand how Workday supports the end-to-end colleague journey. Knowledge of Workday Payroll would be beneficial, as many absence and time-off processes have payroll implications. Optionally, a strong understanding of Workday security roles, approvals, and audit requirements is also important. Experience in financial services would be an advantage. Key requirements include: - 812 years of overall Workday experience, with a strong focus on the Absence & Time-Off module - Workday Absence certification - Hands-on experience with: - Configuration of Time Off Types, Plans, Leave of Absence, Accruals, and Eligibility Rules - Absence frameworks, including absence tables, balances, and schedule-based configurations - Strong understanding of: - Business Process Framework (BPF) and security configuration - Integration touchpoints with Payroll, Time Tracking, and Benefits - Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, including Design, Build, Test, Deploy, and Support - Exposure to global absence implementations and multi-country rollouts - Ability to create functional design documents, solution designs, and configuration workbooks - Hands-on experience supporting UAT cycles, defect resolution, and post-go-live support - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR, Payroll, and business users .
