Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with strong backend development experience to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The role involves working on complex business applications involving APIs, financial workflows, third-party integrations, background processing, and transaction-heavy systems. Experience working on FinTech, BFSI, lending, LOS/LMS, NBFC, or payment applications will be an advantage but is not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.Build secure and well-structured REST APIs and backend services.Design database schemas and develop optimized queries using PostgreSQL/MySQL.Integrate third-party services through APIs and webhooks.Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, OAuth2/JWT and other application security controls.Build asynchronous workflows using queues, background jobs and event-driven processing.Implement reliable webhook processing, retries, idempotency and failure handling.Work on transaction-heavy business workflows requiring strong data consistency and auditability.Optimize application and database performance for scalability.Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.FinTech Experience Preferred Experience with any of the following would be an advantage: Loan Origination Systems (LOS) / Loan Management Systems (LMS)Digital lending / NBFC applicationsCredit bureau integrationseNACH / UPI AutoPay / mandate integrationsLoan disbursement and repayment processingReconciliation and settlement processesFinancial ledgers and transaction processingAudit trails and compliance-driven applications Required Skills 6+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on Node.js experience.Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript.Experience with NestJS.Experience designing and developing REST APIs.Strong understanding of database transactions, indexing and query optimization.Experience with Redis, BullMQ, RabbitMQ or similar queue/messaging technologies.Experience with authentication, authorization and API security. .
