Whats the role As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. This role is ideal for a professional with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development, strong expertise in the Spring ecosystem, RESTful APIs, and database technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver robust applications, contribute to technical solutions, and continuously improve code quality and system performance. What will be your responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming principles, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring MVC. Implement Spring features including Dependency Injection (IoC), Validation, AOP, and Event Handling. Develop and optimize data access layers using JDBC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate. Write efficient SQL queries and integrate applications with relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis. Develop and maintain microservices and backend services following best coding practices. Implement application messaging using Kafka, JMS, or AMQP where applicable. Work on caching, scheduling, and asynchronous processing using Redis and Spring Scheduling. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security and OAuth2. Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and upgrade existing applications. Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high coding standards. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams during the software development lifecycle. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment activities. Whats required from you Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Java or Cloud technologies will be an added advantage. Technical & Skilled Skills 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. Strong understanding of Core Java, OOP concepts, Collections Framework, and Multithreading. Good experience with the Spring Framework including: Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC, Spring Security Strong knowledge of JDBC, SQL, and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Experience working with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis. Hands-on experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with JSON, HTTP, and API integrations. Experience with Kafka, JMS, or message brokers is preferred. Understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments is an added advantage. Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP will be an added advantage. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
