Game UI/UX Designer Intern Remote | 3-Month Internship | GameGenesis Design Experiences Players Love At GameGenesis, we're looking for a creative Game UI/UX Designer Intern who understands that great game design isn't just about looking goodit's about making every interaction feel intuitive, responsive, and enjoyable. Important: All design work, concepts, assignments, and portfolio submissions for this role must be created by the designer without the use of AI tools or AI-generated assets. We value original thinking, personal creativity, and genuine design skills. You'll work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to create interfaces that feel natural within the gameplay experience. --- Your Mission - Design intuitive and engaging UI/UX for mobile, PC, and other gaming platforms. - Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes. - Design game menus, HUDs, inventories, maps, buttons, pop-ups, and other interface elements. - Translate gameplay requirements into clear and player-friendly interfaces. - Collaborate with developers and artists to ensure designs are implemented accurately. - Maintain consistency across layouts, typography, colors, icons, and interactive elements. - Review and iterate designs based on feedback. --- We're Looking For Someone Who - Has a strong understanding of UI/UX design principles. - Is proficient in Figma or similar design tools. - Understands user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and responsive design. - Has a positive understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, hierarchy, and visual composition. - Understands how game interfaces differ from traditional app and web interfaces. - Has strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. - Can clearly explain the reasoning behind their design decisions. --- It'll Be Awesome If You Also Have - Experience designing UI for Unity or Unreal Engine. - Knowledge of game HUDs, menus, inventory systems, skill trees, and progression inter .
