Supply Chain Business Analyst

Business Analyst SCM / eCommerce Experience: 3+ Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience and strong domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and/or eCommerce. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.Understand SCM/eCommerce business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, UI/UX, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings.Analyze and document end-to-end workflows related to order management, inventory, procurement, logistics, fulfillment, pricing, product catalog, payments, and customer journeys.Coordinate with technical teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional dependencies.Support UAT, including preparation of test scenarios, validation of business requirements, and coordination with business users.Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for process optimization.Manage requirement changes and ensure appropriate documentation and stakeholder communication.Create process flow diagrams, wireframes, data mappings, and other functional documentation as required.Track project requirements and ensure deliverables are aligned with business objectives.Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.Strong experience in SCM, Supply Chain, eCommerce, Retail, or related domains.Hands-on experience in requirement gathering and business process analysis.Strong knowledge of BRD, FRD, SRS, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Good understanding of SDLC and software development processes.Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management/documentation tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other documentation tools.Domain Knowledge Preferred Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred: Supply Chain ManagementProcurement & PurchaseInventory ManagementWarehouse ManagementOrder ManagementLogistics & FulfillmenteCommerce PlatformsProduct Catalog & PricingPayments & CheckoutERP / CRM integrationsCustomer/order lifecyclePreferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.MBA or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.Experience working on technology-driven SCM/eCommerce projects is preferred.Key Competencies Business Analysis | Requirement Gathering | SCM | eCommerce | BRD/FRD | User Stories | Agile/Scrum | UAT | Process Mapping | Stakeholder Management | Jira | Confluence | SDLC .
