About the Role We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with strong API Testing experience to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have 26 years of experience in Manual Testing, hands-on experience with API testing, and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies. Experience in the Insurance domain is highly preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in insurance applications, policy management, claims, underwriting, or related BFSI workflows will be given preference. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end test cases.Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.Validate REST/SOAP APIs, request and response payloads, status codes, error handling, and data integrity.Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).Test business workflows and validate application functionality against defined requirements.Identify, document, track, and retest defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect management tools.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects.Perform regression testing to ensure new features and fixes do not impact existing functionality.Participate in test planning, effort estimation, test strategy, and release activities.Ensure quality standards and product requirements are met before application release.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and QA practices. Insurance Domain Experience Candidates with experience in Insurance applications are preferred.
