The Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post go-live support), under the direction of the Project Manager, and may lead one or more activities. Project responsibilities include gathering client requirements, configuring the Dayforce solution to meet documented client requirements, setting and managing client expectations, providing guidance to Associate Consultants, identifying risks and communicating issues to the Project Manager. The Consultant may also deliver Organizational Readiness consulting. Responsibilities: Develop and deploy implementation project plans and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and optimize return on investmentManage all aspects of the implementation process which includes collaborative consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deploymentDocument/validate client business requirements and map to DayForce functionalityConfigure Dayforce application to meet clients business requirementsConduct consulting sessions (phone/in-person) and document with meeting minutesAttend internal project meetings and provide status on activities and deliverablesApply functional and technical expertise to effectively execute requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training and full deploymentConsult and advise clients through the implementation process on best practices that maximize value and return on investmentCollaborate with the project team, internal partners, external client, and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of the time and attendance management systemResponsible for managing the integrity, accuracy, and maintenance of employee dataAudit data and modules as neededProvide clients with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertiseDevelop SQL database scripts and XML transformers for integrations and interfacesBe a go-to resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external usersWork with clients to implement Organizational Readiness best practices in preparation for rollout of the Dayforce solutionReview policies periodically and make best practice recommendations Qualifications: Technical Bachelors degree in business or computer science5+ years of software implementation experienceExperience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experience with HRIS SystemsPreferred Specialization: Workforce Management Scheduling, Time Keeping, Position Management, Org Structure etc.Experience with one or more of the following applications: Dayforce (preferred), SalesForce.com, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, UKG, Oracle HR/PayrollAbility to effectively implement an HRIS module or similar end-to-end solutionUnderstanding of common human capital management (HCM) business practicesExperience in business process mappingExperience in change management an assetDemonstrated proficiency in SQL & XMLProficiency in Microsoft Office products Functional Ability to engage with multiple projects & clients at the same time and manage prioritiesAbility to lead and facilitate client workshops and sessionsDesire and ability to thrive as a detail-oriented team player who can work with minimal supervisionSuperior collaboration skillsTask completion follow through is a mustStrong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills.Excellent English language is required.Ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced deadline driven environmentAbility and willingness to travel to client sites as needed on a limited basis .
