QA Analyst

Job Title: Jr. Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Fasteners, Nut, Bolts, and fitting items Job Type: Full-time Salary: 15,000 22,000 per month Location: Howrah, West Bengal About the Role : We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience in the Fasteners, nut bolt manufacturing sector, to join our quality control team. In this role, you will ensure our production of nuts, bolts, threaded fittings, and industrial fasteners meets strict dimensional accuracy, durability, and industry quality standards before dispatch. Key Responsibilities Dimensional Inspection: Measure critical dimensions using micrometers, Vernier calipers, thread gauges, pitch gauges, and optical comparators. Batch Testing: Conduct mechanical and physical testing, including tensile strength, hardness, and coating/plating thickness verification. Process Auditing: Perform in-process visual and structural quality checks across cold forging, threading, machining, and heat treatment lines. Non-Conformance Tracking: Identify, log, and isolate defective lots; prepare root-cause analysis (RCA) reports with the production team. Documentation: Maintain accurate calibration logs, raw material test certificates (TC), and daily inspection reports (DIR). Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 1 to 3 years in QA/QC within hardware, fasteners, nut bolt manufacturing. Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard precision measuring tools. Basic understanding of ISO quality standards and fastener specifications (DIN, ISO, ASTM, or IS standards).
