Job SummaryHouston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Multi-Cloud Support Engineer to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support across multiple cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations, diagnosing and resolving issues, and helping clients leverage cloud technologies to meet their business needs. As a remote-first company with a worldwide client base, we are looking for proactive individuals with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong background in cloud infrastructure and support. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 support across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to cloud services, networking, security, and infrastructure performance. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to implement solutions. Monitor cloud environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Manage incident response and perform root cause analysis to prevent future issues. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on configurations, procedures, and policies. Provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution timelines. Participate in on-call rotations and support coverage during peak business hours in supported regions (India/EU/US). Continuously evaluate emerging cloud tools and technologies to improve support efficiency and performance. Required Skills and QualificationsStrong expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proficiency in cloud-native tools and services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Compute Engine, etc. Solid understanding of virtualization, networking, and cloud security best practices. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Competence in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus). Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud support or infrastructure engineering. Experience working in a remote, distributed team is preferred. Industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer) are a strong plus. Working HoursFlexible remote working hours aligned with business needs in India, Europe, or the US time zones. Participation in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed. Occasional availability for cross-regional meetings or urgent support. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong diagnostic and analytical skills. Ability to thrive in a remote work environment with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service mindset and communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
